This circular concerns the high prevalence of cervical cancer worldwide, and particularly in Zimbabwe where it is the greatest source of cancer in women. The cause is HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) which affects both men and women in various ways, but is a particular danger to women. A vaccination is available, and the Ministry of Health is now vaccinating all girls aged 10 to 14.
